April Raque is a certified health coach and wellness counselor, interior designer, Reiki Master, environmental activist, and self-proclaimed “lady chef”.

She spent many years working in the local foods, design, and wellness industries, touting the importance of connected well-being, mindful eating, healthy advantages of sustainable design, and how it's possible to prevent and repair the affects aging. It wasn’t until she found herself a victim of stress-related illness, that she knew she too had to become a healthier version of herself.

As she charted her own personal path to wellness, her need to inspire other women grew. Wellness Design Group was born out of her personal experience and a lifelong passion for health, wellness, real food, and sustainability. April is now a health advocate, guiding others to stand up for their own health and well-being; a health educator, providing science-based coaching; and a positive inspiration in how finding balance makes for healthy and happy life.

A health and wellness coach is someone who inspires, educates, and guides others to follow their own path to well-being, in order to make lasting changes for optimal health and happiness.

Because you’re the expert of your life and know what you need, you set your own personal health goals. Then in collaboration with your coach, you’ll design a personal path to achieve lasting changes in your life. A health and wellness coach is your partner, supporting you without judgement, cheering you on, and occasionally providing you with education or insights to help you determine next steps to meet your wellness goals.

Health coaches are certified health professionals.

Wellness Design Group Founder, April Raque, has earned three accredited certifications in health coaching and wellness counseling.
